Blood Falls is the story of a vampire clan that flees Europe to escape an execution decree and seeks refuge in the American, Old West town of Blood Falls. It’s a ‘Vampire-Western’ that features family drama, romance, danger and of course a host of supernatural characters in addition to the four escape vampire brothers and their father. 

As this is a fairly unique story, I wanted the book cover art to reflect that uniqueness and decided on a stark, simplistic theme that depicted a sleepy, unsuspecting, Old West town that was about to be engulfed in blood lust, deadly, ancient feuds and nightly terror from the new inhabitants of the near by mountain range. The town almost looks like a fake, movie-set piece, as if it didn’t really come to life until death was on it’s doorstep. The blood seeping from the mountains holds a more intriguing range of color, uitlizing a gradient and glossy effects, symbolizing the range of personalities and intents across the four vampire brothers from ruthless and deadly to kind and protective of the human inhabitants of Blood Falls.
